Don’t miss our forthcoming concert when we shall be performing excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and movements from the work of Rutter and Vivaldi. The event also features the accomplished professional soloist, Ruth Kerr, and the choir will be accompanied by Sussex Classical Players. In addition, there will be our ever popular carols for choir and audience.

 

Handel’s Messiah is probably the most commonly performed of all choral works, a beloved masterpiece. A memorable highlight in this work, which will be included in this concert, is the exuberant Hallelujah Chorus.

All the other music at this event has also been specially selected to help us celebrate Christmas for example Vivaldi’s uplifting Gloria and Rutter’s contemplative Esurientes from his Magnificat
