Our spring concert will comprise of Beethoven's triumphant Ninth Symphony (The Choral) and Handel's glorious Coronation Anthems. We shall be joined by Brighton Chamber Choir and accompanied by Sussex Classical Players.

There can be few classical pieces of music which are so well recognised and celebrated as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with its powerful finale ‘Ode to Joy’ and uplifting message about the unity of mankind.

Handel’s Coronation Anthems are full of grandeur and majesty while also often having a strong emotional impact which is particularly evident in the anthem ‘Zadok the Priest’.

 

The concert will take place on Saturday 25th April 2026 at 7.30 p.m. at St Andrew’s Church, Burgess Hill, RH15 0LG.
